Company Profile:
In 1933, 19-year-old Joe Giambrocco quit his five-dollar a week job, as a printer's apprentice, to go into business for himself as a produce peddler. From the one man, one truck operation, he and his family built a full service food distribution company offering quality produce, dry and canned goods and paper products to hundreds of restaurants in the Rocky Mountain area. Giambrocco Food Service Company presently employs 75 people, services 2,800 customers, with an inventory approximately 2,500 line items, and has a fleet of 25 trucks which service most of the Colorado Front Range.
